In order to be registered and featured companies must be Canadian owned (majority shares at least) . The different levels describe just how beneficial your product choice may be for our country, but all levels featured promote Canadian businesses.

Acknowledgement

Prior to being included on the registry a business will have to pay a small registration fee, which is expected to be about 15-20 dollars at this time. This money will be used to fund the maintenance of the website, registry and online portals. This project is being undertaken by a Canadian who loves his country and wants to make this as accessible as possible, without incurring too much further personal cost. If the registrations exceed the operating costs of the directory, they will be used to fund the creation of video content highlighting the businesses in the registry for the Build Up Canada youtube page.
